To encourage and develop leadership qualities in telecommunicators on the floor. Many of our “heroes in headsets” possess innate traits and abilities that bring together their coworkers and result in peers turning to them for in-the-moment direction and advice. In addition, there will be suggestions for those currently in positions of authority on how to cultivate and develop the careers and talents of their subordinates.
This hour course will provide tips and tools to help telecommunicators and their supervisors recognize these characteristics in themselves and others to mature them for leadership roles in their agency.
