I started in 1999 in the Chesterfield Communications Center as a police dispatcher on Midnight shift. During my tenure I have served as a Cross Trained Dispatcher, Community Educator and Recruiter, Lead Dispatcher, Assistant Shift Supervisor, General Instructor, Training Officer, Training Facilitator and now Chief of Personnel Development. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002, while working in the communications center full time.
