Brian Zierlein

Division Chief
Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Colorado

Brian Zierlein is a Division Chief with 24 years of service at the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, including almost a decade of supervisory and management experience as a sergeant and commander across multiple divisions. He has managed complex investigations and projects, organizational problem-solving, process improvement and organizational systems design, and implementing technology in law enforcement. Notable accomplishments include major reclassification of the 911 dispatcher job title and command-level oversight of several major technology-related projects. He currently serves as the Support Services Division Chief overseeing the Records, Communications Radio Shop, Sheriff Computer Support, and Dispatch divisions of the Boulder County Sheriff's Office in Boulder, Colorado.
