Gregory A. Holcomb, ENP, RCDD, CCIO, CPM

Mr. Holcomb is the Office of Public Safety Support Director and E911 Coordinator for Lake County Florida. His primary roles include managing the Countywide Radio and E911 systems serving Municipal, County, and State agencies. He is trained and fulfills the role of the Logistics Chief in the Lake County Emergency Operations Center during activations. Mr. Holcomb serves as the Communications Chair for Florida Regional Domestic Security functions in Region 5 as well as the Florida Domestic Security Council Executive Board Communications Focus Group Chair. He also represents the State of Florida as the Alternate Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC) and served as the Technology Chair for FloridaNet assisting the State of Florida with FirstNet initiatives. Greg is the current Vice Chair of the SAFECOM and National Council of Statewide Interoperability Coordinators (NCSWIC) Next Generation 911 (NG911) Working Group.

Mr. Holcomb is a member of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and holds the designation of Emergency Number Professional (ENP). He is also a member of Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials-International (APCO), Florida 9-1-1 Coordinators Association and Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI). He holds designations as a Communications Leader (COML), BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), and is a Certified Supervisory Manager (CSM), Certified Public Manager (CPM), and Certified Chief Information Officer (CCIO) through Florida State University.

Greg has served local government Public Safety since 1986 in multiple technical and managerial roles including managing two consolidated Fire Rescue 9-1-1 Center for several years. Greg is also a veteran of the United States Air Force where he specialized in Telecommunications Systems. He holds two (2) degrees, Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications. These skills provide him with a broad overview of the 9-1-1, telephony, wireless and communications infrastructure networks utilized by Public Safety-First Responders.
