Nicole Diedrick is the Police Administrator over the Communications Bureau for the Phoenix Police Department. She is responsible for 5 managers, 30 supervisors, and over 200 radio dispatchers and 911 operators. The Communications Bureau manages over 1 million calls for service each year. Nicole has a combined 25 years of PSAP experience with the Phoenix Police Department as a dispatcher, supervisor, and as the Radio Network/Encryption Manager. Nicole left PPD in 2020 to take a promotional opportunity as the Fire Communication Manager for Phoenix Fire Department Regional Dispatch Center; the second largest secondary PSAP in the nation before returning to the police department in her current role. Nicole has served on numerous communications and interoperability committees throughout the region. She was one of the primary communications planners for Superbowl 57 and served as Secretary for the Arizona chapter of APCO.
