Jeff Schripsema is a Deputy Fire Chief for the Phoenix Fire Department currently assigned as the organizations Safety Officer. He has 32 years of experience in the fire service. Jeff has been involved in disaster and emergency communications for 29 years. He has over 70 deployments to incidents around the country where he has served in multiple roles including Communications Unit Leader for a Type I incident management team. He has served in multiple co-chair roles on numerous communication and interoperability committees throughout the region. He is the current Chair of the Executive Committee for the Regional Wireless Cooperative, a state-of-the-art 700MHz radio network serving over 20,000 subscribers and 15,000 square miles of radio coverage. Most recently he served as the Regional Communications Coordinator for Superbowl 57, organizing communications for over 60 agencies and entities.
