Statewide Interoperability Coordinator Texas Department of Public Safety
Creating a region-wide public safety radio network comes with a number of challenges, including disparate spectrum, LMR systems from different vendors, and the need to support multiple admins as well as local control requirements. This workshop will explore how cloud interoperability makes it possible to create a system of systems by providing the interoperability framework needed for agencies to share and control resources. The resulting virtual network allows public safety to communicate seamlessly across jurisdictional boundaries.
