Brian is a 13 year industry professional who began his career as an entry level public safety dispatcher with the St. Louis County Police Department. Over the last 13 years, he has served multiple roles, including, Communications Training Officer, First Line Supervisor, Platoon Watch Commander, Instructor, and Department Mentor. His job duties have ranged from being a subject matter expert who interviews potential applicants, PIO duties, CALEA Accreditation, CAD migration, and almost anything in between.
Brian has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia College and a Master's Degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. Brian completed the FBI-LEEDA's Leadership Trilogy program in Memphis, Tennessee in 2019. In 2021, Brian graduated from Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command, Class 505, where he was elected as a class officer. He earned his ENP certification in 2016. Brian is the Chair of the Regional Operations Committee, as well as the Chair of the St. Louis County PSAP User Group.
Brian is married to his wife, Sarah, of 7 years and together have 2 daughters, Kennedy, 4, and Reagan, 1.
