For the past 22 years Jared Pelham has had the privilege to serve in many roles in Emergency Services and Public Safety beginning as an EMT working for his county ambulance service. That adventure led him to this amazing profession which he has remained for the past 18 years in Public Safety Communications beginning as a dispatcher for his county’s EMS and volunteer fire departments. Following consolidation of their 9-1-1 center, he became one of the 4 Evening Shift Floor Supervisors from March 2009 through October 2013. In October of 2013 he earned and accepted a new role, joining the Training and Quality Assurance Team. This new role, as with being a Floor Supervisor, was an amazing adventure. Jared’s most recent journey has led him to a new role at his agency serving as one of the three (3) Shift Supervisors. Jared has accomplished several personal and professional goals including earning his APCO RPL certification in 2018, completing NENA’s Center Managers Certification Program (CMCP) and earning and maintain his Emergency Number Professional (ENP) certification. Jared currently serves on several Public Safety Communications committees with NENA, APCO and the State Tennessee.
