Regional Manager Colorado State Patrol Lakewood, Colorado
As leaders, we're expected to always be accessible to those around us. Sometimes it can seem like it's part of our job expectations to be available 24/7. The inability to disconnect and set up a work-life balance impairs our ability to recover and continue to give our best to those around us. In this session, we'll discuss setting healthy boundaries with subordinates and superiors, why "no" shouldn't be a dirty word, and creating a support structure at work and at home that allows for maximum rest and recovery between crises.
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this session, participants will understand the importance of healthy boundaries and what those may look like.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to identify and articulate boundaries in their professional lives to their leadership and their subordinates.
At the end of this session, participants will be understand what strong support systems can look like inside the center and out and be able to develop those support structures.
