When tragedy strikes your city, how will you and your co-workers face the trauma? Join us as we share our stories of conquering trauma, leading an Emergency Center through the pain and staying victorious in our career paths, while still prospering in life.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will learn the signs, moods, and feelings that may come with experiencing trauma and what to do once diagnosed with PTSD.
  • Participants will become familiar in recognizing the obvious and not so obvious signs of when a coworker may need help dealing with traumatic events.
  • Participants will learn what it takes to guide a center through the troubling times after your entire city has experienced a tragedy.
  • Participants will be able to have an understanding that it takes time to heal to overcome trauma and being successful is still attainable.
