Heath A. Brant, RPL, CMCP

Heath Brant began his public safety career in 2001 as a correctional officer with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. After just over ten years in corrections Heath turned to communications in 2011. Since then Heath has served as a Trainer, Shift Supervisor and was appointed as the first Deputy Director for Johnson County Public Safety Communications in 2016 and appointed as the Executive Director at the beginning of 2018. Heath completed his APCO RPL in 2022 in which he helped pass legislation for miniumum training stands for Indiana's 911 Telecommunicators. Since 2019 Heath has served on the Executive Board for the Indiana Chapter of APCO where he currently serves as the 2nd Vice President.
