APCO and others in the public safety community have adopted a comprehensive vision of Next Generation 9-1-1 to ensure that ECCs can receive and process voice, text, and multimedia content and share this information in a fully interoperable way with other ECCs or with first responders in the field. APCO staff will describe resources available to help ECCs prepare for NG9-1-1.
