Imagery and data from airborne drones are no longer limited to the individual operating a drone. Connectivity through applications and broadband devices provides situational awareness and key information to emergency communications centers (ECC), as well as the ability to make timely, informed decisions when dispatching teams. FirstNet can then be the tool to push drone and incident data from the ECC to those dispatched responders, so they arrive on scene with actionable information and improved situational awareness. This panel will delve into drone systems and technology enablers that support decisionmakers and responders alike.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will learn how drone systems are being used in the field to inform the ECC and dispatch decisions.
Participants will learn about existing applications and broadband solutions that connect drone teams and the ECC.
Participants will have an opportunity to provide short-term and long-term input on their current and future tool and technology needs with the FirstNet Authority.
