Jay Malin, Ph.D., ENP, is a co-founder of AGENT511 and manages solution architecture for its utility and public safety products. He led the company's efforts to build and deploy its TEXTBLUE Next-Generation 9-1-1 Multimedia platform to major 9-1-1 centers nationally and throughout Canada over the past 10 years. He has shared his experiences with the various deployments on panel discussions and presentations at NENA and APCO national and regional conferences. Topics include text-to-911, multimedia, and WebRTC and next-generation IP services.
Jay participated in NENA ICE events on behalf of his company and helped to lead technology demonstrations of text-to-911 language translation with IJIS. He founded a company in the broadband VoIP space prior to AGENT511 and was an active presenter and published several papers on IP policy routing and net neutrality. Previously, Jay was a Research Associate at the Naval Research Laboratory.
