Roger retired from the Air Force in 2001 after 20-years of service in tactical air command and control. He retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2023 after 22-years of service in the Communications Division; twelve of those years as the Division's Training Coordinator. Roger continues to instruct with the Missouri Professional Training Partnership and undoubtedly his primary focus continues to be the education of professionals within public safety communications. He also hopes to have a fascinating retirement providing karaoke and DJ services around the state. He and his wife DeAnn enjoy traveling, singing every chance they get, community theatre, and they volunteer with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. They share four sons, two daughters-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters.
