Dawn Moore

Chief Operator
Missouri State Highway Patrol

Dawn has been a Communications Operator for over 25 years. She is currently the Chief Operator of Communications at the Missouri State Highway Patrol - Troop E in Poplar Bluff. She has provided training to Patrol personnel and other agencies in the Southeast region of Missouri. She has also taught at the state and national level. Dawn is POST-certified and has taught a variety of courses including Missouri CJIS Databases/NLETS/NCIC, Public Safety Telecommunicator I, and numerous continuing education courses. She serves as the MOAPCO Regional Ambassador for the Southeast Region and is a member of the Patrol’s Peer Support Team. In her off-time Dawn can be found relaxing on the beautiful Current River with her family.
